Beige and Teal is a design brand that I have created with my husband, Leon D. to reflect a universal image inspired by cultural identity. Through Beige and Teal, we work as a creative duo to provide conceptual and visual work inspired via the untold stories of Bahrain through various mediums and activities.
"Beige & Teal” is a tangible story of unspoken tales, of the past and of the present.
It is a reunion of a long lost relationship between people and home..
It is a journey to find the buried gems of the land to the hidden pearls of the sea…
It is a mirror that reflects who we are now; not the history we are bound to….
It is the missing connection between the past, the present, and the future…"
Beige and Teal scope of work includes product design, art, and curation of community projects, all in an attempt to reflect the contemporary life of the wonderful people on our island.

Ulafa’a is a reconciliation art project that aims to create opportunities for people to express themselves and to strengthen relationships of respect and understanding among the different communities of Bahrain. The project is based on the belief that people can express themselves through a variety of artistic forms, and that these expressions can facilitate communication and the sharing of stories.
After one year of meeting, brainstorming, and participating in public events, Ulafa'a curated three independent group exhibitions, through which they hosted few artists and offered the opportunity for the community to participate as well.
Today, Ulafa'a is creating an open platform where artists, people and groups can assemble and dissemble per project.
